Custom Wine Cellar Designs & Builds
What’s Involved
We offer a comprehensive wine racking design & installation service backed by our years of experience in handling & storing wines. It’s not only basement rooms that can be used as wine cellars, as you can also convert existing rooms, parts of rooms, garages, out buildings and even under the stairs , nearly any space can be converted to provide the ideal storage conditions for your valued wine collection.
Consultation
Discuss with us what you have in mind for your proposed wine cellar/room. Whether you are looking for maximum storage or perhaps somewhere to show off your wine collection we can provide a solution. If you have any architects plans or drawings this would aid in helping us to guide you in the right direction to achieve your ideal wine storage goals.
Site Visit/Survey
As well as working from plan, we can look to making a visit to your home or site to conduct a full survey. During our visit we will record all relevant dimensions of the room in question, work out a cubic capacity and discuss your requirements in more detail. This also includes temperature control if required.
Design & 3D Concept Visuals
Having carried out a survey or working from plan we can produce a design (in house) using the latest CAD based software. Combined with our years of experience & knowledge we will produce a series of concept images to help give you a clear picture of the finished area. Once a design has been confirmed we will generate a quotation for the agreed package of work.
Cellar Conditioning
We can offer a variety of systems for cellars/rooms from 12-100 cubic metres. The type & style of unit we propose will depend on the location of the cellar/room in question. There are a number of ‘’off the shelf’’ units which can be viewed here. We can also offer bespoke split systems to suit any number of applications.
*Please note: In order for any climate control system to operate efficiently and maintain a required temperature involves the conditioned space to be properly insulated and air-tight. Any glass i.e. doors & partitions must be double glazed as a minimum to avoid the buildup of possible condensation.
All building works other than the installation of any wine racking or climate control systems are the responsibility of the client.
